Definitely a session beer. Golden body with thin white head. Bready aroma. Light body, malt with a slight hop edge. Zippy finish.

Draught @ the brewery. Pours a crystal clear pale golden colour with a white head. Nose is wet grainy notes. Flavour is sweet grain and cereal. It doesn’t have the typical bitter kolsch finish. It’s light and easy drinking. Nothing wrong here.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Finally a true to style kölsch beer from the States. Pale yellow with high, frothy head.Head subsides somewhat but enough remains to provide a nice cap to the beer. Fine, lively carbonation. Grainy, bready nose. taste brings a hint of lemon zest with some minor sweetness, light maltiness, biscuits. Very small hops snap at the finish. Pretty tasty and light in feel.

This was the beer-store-guy-who-loves-Kolsch’s favorite Kolsch. Other than being low in alcohol, this is a DELICIOUS beer!

Pours two fingers of head on a slightly hazy golden body. Aroma is bright and light lemon. Taste has a nice lemon bitterness throughout, good malt profile too. Texture is crisp and fizzy.

Crystal blonde topped with a decent white head. Clean, grainy nose. The body is lightly doughy and grainy. Very clean body with minimal tannins and low hopping. Very solid Kolsch that lets the grainy profile shine

The nose is lightly metallic and crisp. In the mouth it’s smooth, on the sweeter side but not sickly. Got an easy, clean bitterness to even it out. Not the best Kolsch in the NW but I could sink a few.

Capa (3716) - DC, Washington DC, USA - DEC 22, 2015
Golden with a faint haze and a white head. Light earthy notes, a hint of grain, clean malt profile overall, faint sweet fruits. Crispy finish. A very well-crafted Kölsch.
