Bottle in Cholula. Malty, a little chunky brown with small foam. Sweet fruity red fruit nose, solid rich body, a little unrefined. Good flavors, nice malty drinker.

Pours dark reddish-brown with a bubbly off-white head that leaves lacing. Malty aroma, of grass, yeast, toast. Taste is a bit watery, with toasted malt, grass, a hint of smoke. Lingering light toast. Not bad.

Bottle, 355ml. Murky brown with a copper hue and a creamy tan head. Sweet roasted aroma, with hints of dry fruits, nuts, toasted malt, honey and coffee. Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Fruity sourness dominates the flavor. Slightly watery. Practically no sweetness or bitterness. Flat, and not very drinkable, or good..

Percy0103 (777) - MEXICO - JUL 26, 2014
Bottle, A dark red opaque beer with a medium size creamy head and a considerable amount of gas. It has a sour aroma of roasted malt, lots of spices. clove and alcohol. Taste is sour, watery and I don´t think it has a pleasant finish. There is some cabonation and astringency.

Good aroma. Initial good taste, watery finish. In my opinion, overly carbonated. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

omhper (25538) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAY 22, 2013
Bottled, from La Belga, Mexico City. Hazy mahogany colour, rich, lively head. Aroma of hazelnuts and strawberry. Mid sweet with rounded mouthfeel and light-medium body. Starwberry esters followed by caramel and pine. Mid bitter finish. Not as mellow, but more estery than the other two beers I had from 7 Barrios.

ghawener (1608) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - MAY 22, 2013
Bottle: Starts full bodied, heavy, malty and complex. Quickly looses its character and finishes, flat, watery, stale.

emartell (352) - Zapopan, Jalisco, MEXICO - MAR 12, 2013
Ligeros aromas a maltas y chocolate.

Mezcalmannen (395) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2012
Dark brown colour and off-white head, again the head is intense and long lasting, seems to be a staple of the brewery. You can pick up malts on the nose, bread and coffee, but also a sweet banana smell which first made me think of a wheat beer. Sweet taste, some bitterness. Lacks a bit on the palate, but a decent brew.
