COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Medium bodied, strong aromatic component, slight spice imparted by the rye. The rye component of the beer pairs well with the resinous hop profile. This is for fans of hops, strong bitterness and a strong aroma combine for this unique take on a hoppy beer.

UPDATED: AUG 7, 2017 Light tobacco color with tan head. Spicy sweet rye aroma. Malty spicy rye flavors, grassy pine hop with a dry finish. I love a good rye IPA and this is a good rye IPA.

Tap. Pours a clear dark copper body with a small white head. The nose is slightly sweet with some spicy rye bread notes. The flavor is similar, a little sweeter than I’d like, and there’s a weird chemical like note late on the finish. Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. OK, but a little too sweet and too light on the spicy rye.

Draft. Medium off-white head atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, rye, some grapefruit, light caramel/bread. Taste is medium sweet, rye, some pine/grapefruit, light bread. Light-medium body, some acidity. One of the strongest rye characteristic I’ve come across -probably could stand to be toned down some.

Orange and some light peel. Nice balance here. Amber pour with good head and lacing. Good balance and well done. Rye malt makes for good backbone. Tap at brewery.

4 oz pour on draft at 7 Locks. Poured a clear golden, light ruby color with an off-white head. Aroma was light fruit, citrus, light honey notes. A touch too bitter, malt and some light spicy notes. Sharp honey finish. Okay.
