Initial smell of candied apple but this one gets lost in unfermented sugar and mash malt. Hazy amber with ok head. Sour finish. Infected. Tap at El Estadio.

A hazed golden amber ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy floral hops, light treacle, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, light citrus pulp, nice little ipa.

(Rating #6595)

My Bottom Line:
This super sweet brew showcases strawberry jam in a hopless, oxidized and nearly flat setting. Terrible on many fronts.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A horrible pour yields no head and a murky reddish brown color.
-This can’t be fresh, but since there is no date on the bottle, how are we supposed to tell?
-This sadly happens too often in the Mexican craft beer scene.

Bottle.

One beer with an Aroma and Looks that makes you ask for another one. Baja California is one of the Mexican States that has plenty of number one Craft Beer, and Ensenada one of my favorites.
