Brewed for the spooky, leaves falling off the trees, gateway to winter month of October. Pumpkin Porter delivers festive flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, and cardamom. Brewed as a traditional Robust Porter with rich Marris Otter malt and gently hopped with Fuggle and German Hersbruckers. We hand cut nearly 500 LBS of pumpking for an 8.5 BBL batch, removed, roaster, and pureed the flesh before adding it to both the mash and the boil kettle. After two weeks in the fermenter, we added our special blend of spices to the conditioning tank and let their flavors infuse for over a week.
