On tap at the brewpub: Murky pale yellow colour with a fluffy head. The aroma isn’t much different than a regular Helles: grassy and flowery (hops?) and some lager yeast character. The flavour is mostly herbal and earthy, but with an authentic cannabis taste - like picking leaves from a hemp plant. The beer actually taste darker than it is, with a toasted, dry maltiness and a pretty bitter finish. Nice! ultrasix (2) - USA - OCT 15, 2009 does not count
A golden lager with a sweetish, herbal twist: The aroma of whole hemp leaves and the spicy bitterness resemble fresh - cut conifers and wild flowers. The hemp beer has a full, slightly sweetish body and an aftertaste that gives a long lingering unique impression of hemp. (Do not expect any other effects from this beer than a pleasant taste and a moderate alcohol content of less than five per cent ABV). potbeerjob (1343) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 3, 2009
Draught at brew pub. Small white head, and yellow color. Odd aroma. Weird finish. Not impressive. Dogbrick (13378) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2009
On draught at the brewpub. The beer is a mostly clear yellow-orange color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, toffee and spices. Light body with flavors of sweet caramel malt and lightly spiced hops. Honey is present in the flavor as well. The finish is sweet and spicy with a honey aftertaste. Decent overall. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 14, 2009
Another freaky beer from the brewery, i take it away in the flip-top bottle. Nice straw colored beer body with a stable foamy head. Fine aroma of caramel and pale malt, some honey with fine herbal perfume of hemp. Interesting herbal-hemp taste within the flavor too with the character of a lager beer, some honey taste. Nice hemp beer, it hasn’t got the unpleasant flavor like other hemp beers. It was made with a good balance.

Draught at 7 Stern Brau, Vienna. Notes from July 08. Pours a dark orange with medium white head. Pleasant spicy aroma. Flavour of caramel malt, herbs and a slight honey touch. Another well balanced beer from this brewer and really enjoyed this one. MartinT (10014) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 9, 2009

A bready malt pillow is scented with the fresh and enticing herbal spiciness of hemp in this quenching and riveting Helles mit hanf.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam laces atop the shiny golden gown.
-This lager is as well rounded as any other 7 Stern brew I’ve had.
-The base malt sweetness is nearly honeyed.
-The hemp is so well used, it admirably replaces the hops in both aroma, flavor and finish.
-This is perfectly balanced; this Slovak brewer really knows what he’s doing!
On tap at the brewpub.
Pours a reddish gold with a fizzy head. Lots of grass and flowery hops all over this one... and sweet. Hemp shows up at the end of the finish, but not over the top. Like a light IPA, done right. Kind of reminds me of one of the lagunitas zappa beers but I cant remember which one. Awesome beer, actually. MiP (15943) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - NOV 27, 2008
Draught, 4.7% at the brewpub. Faintly buttery aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Stable creamy white head. Good maltiness to the flavour, hint of pepper. I thought this was just another malty lager until the aftertaste where the hemp can be tasted. Works all right. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 1, 2008
On tap @ 7 Stern Brau, Vienna. Pours deep golden color with slightly sweet leafy/hoppy aroma. Taste is sweet with noticable hemp/marijuana, flowery grassy presence. Medium mouthfeel. Liked this
