Comments: I’ll be damned! They managed to do a good hemp beer, but then again, it can’t be too hard with such a great basis as their märzen. Very perfumey indeed, concentrated nose with a floral outburst. It does feel much duller in mouth though and somewhat thin and overly herbal compared to the powerful nose.
Cloudy orange brown and a frothy white head. Floral, bit soapy lemon. Really nice. Taste is okay as well. Medium bitterness. Surprising. skortila (5875) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - JUL 27, 2011
On tap @ the brewpub. The aroma has malts, some flowers. Clear, golden coloured beer with a white head. The taste has light bitterness, light sweetness, malts, forest fruits and is a bit flowery. Nice. TimE (5827) - Tokyo, JAPAN - APR 29, 2015
was much more full bodied than other hemp beers I have tried, but retained its heady character and in Seiben Stern fashion kept a clean malt character. Marko (5718) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 27, 2008

A little past its bb date but still ok. Murky orange-yellow body with a medium sized white head taht took its time to go away. Strong yeasty nose. The taste is hoppy, with an obvious presence of hanf, nicely spicy/herbal. Yeasty, light acidity, long yeasty aftertaste. Ok overall I guess. Just a little off (the yeast is too prominent). Might rerate it at the brewpub.
Torben Matthew’s Tasting, Aarhus, Bottled, 181110. Golden with white head. Aroma of malt and characteristic hemp spiciness. Flavor weak with notes of spice.
