Pale golden hazy beer with a good, rich, fruity and unusual taste that gets more intense in the aftertaste. I really like the hanfbier taste, but some people may not - it’s a bit unusual! (Draught at Siebensternbräu, Wien) nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JAN 10, 2009
Draught at 7 Stern Brau, Vienna. Notes from July 08. Pours a dark orange with medium white head. Pleasant spicy aroma. Flavour of caramel malt, herbs and a slight honey touch. Another well balanced beer from this brewer and really enjoyed this one. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 14, 2009
Another freaky beer from the brewery, i take it away in the flip-top bottle. Nice straw colored beer body with a stable foamy head. Fine aroma of caramel and pale malt, some honey with fine herbal perfume of hemp. Interesting herbal-hemp taste within the flavor too with the character of a lager beer, some honey taste. Nice hemp beer, it hasn’t got the unpleasant flavor like other hemp beers. It was made with a good balance. fiulijn (20614) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 8, 2009

Hazy deep blond color. The aroma is lightly malty. It has a good mouthfeel, smooth and round, with some malt and grassy flavor (the hemp), and residual sweetness. Correct bitterness. Balanced and pleasant, even if the hemp in the end is a strange feeling in a beer.
Pint from the tap in 7 Stern Pub. Hazy light orange colour with white foam. Aroma: sweet, grains, bread, herbal, flowers. Tastes sweet and grains, spices, honey, flour. I really enjoyed it, easily drinkable. rickgordon (3878) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 6, 2007
[On draught at the brewpub]
Hazy pale yellow colour. Citrusy, perfumy nose with notes of elder. Rich flowery and fruity in flavour with elder present. Stalk-ish mouthfeel. Notable bitterness and very dry. Flavourful beer. Dogbrick (13144) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - APR 10, 2009
On draught at the brewpub. The beer is a mostly clear yellow-orange color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates slowly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, toffee and spices. Light body with flavors of sweet caramel malt and lightly spiced hops. Honey is present in the flavor as well. The finish is sweet and spicy with a honey aftertaste. Decent overall. Bottle: Thanks Tanja. Hazy deep orange pour with an off white head. Very clean and wafery aroma- some nutty presence as well with mild grassy notes, but no hemp. Nice fluffy light feel. Clean and quite nutty with a biscuity/dry pale malt presence. Not really spicy or hempy, but dry enough to be a nice session. madmitch76 (25009) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2013

At the Brewpub. Hazy gold beer, tidy white head. Light palate, a little crisp. Light sweet malt cream with a herby vibe which must come from the hemp. Super light hops. Mild minerals. Semi dry finish. Tasty enough.
