COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A golden lager with a sweetish, herbal twist: The aroma of whole hemp leaves and the spicy bitterness resemble fresh-cut conifers and wild flowers. The hemp beer has a full, slightly sweetish body and an aftertaste that gives a long lingering unique impression of hemp. (Do not expect any other effects from this beer than a pleasant taste and a moderate alcohol content of less than five percent ABV).

Draught at the brewpub. Clear yellow - white head. Spicy, hemp (pot/hash), smell of ganja, light sweetness, nice bitterness, fruity. OK.

swing top bottle (500ml).-courtesy of and shared with Doggythedog (thanks!)
Cloudy yellow/orange coloured, medium to big white head, yeasty spicy nose. Acidic hanf taste with notes of yeast, hops and spices. Slight herbal touch in the finish. The beer was two weeks over BBE but still drinkable.

Draught, 4.7% at the brewpub. Faintly buttery aroma. Cloudy dark orange colour. Stable creamy white head. Good maltiness to the flavour, hint of pepper. I thought this was just another malty lager until the aftertaste where the hemp can be tasted. Works all right.

Draught at brew pub. Small white head, and yellow color. Odd aroma. Weird finish. Not impressive.

Tap at brewpub. Hazy watery golden yellow. Medium white head, some lacing. Nose is herbal with muted fruit, not unlike a UK pale ale. Palate is reasonably interesting, herbs, citrus and something vegetable but over a disappointingly thin body. Inoffensive but totally dull.

0,3l from tap at the brewpub. Yellow hazy color, small white head. Smells bread, tobacco, herbs. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of bread, tobacco, light herbs, grains, grass. Finishes dry and with light bitterness and tobacco. Okish, not the best.

On Tap at the brewbub. Leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, leicht floral hopfig. Geschmack getreidig malzig, blumig dezent floral bitter.

Pale golden body with pearl head. Sweet aroma, butterish honey caramel, malts and sourish leaves. Taste has honey, butter, caramel and citric grass - leading to a fruity finish. Fruity and normal on palate. Past BB with 3 months, but still nice. [50cl.btl 4.7%abv @Finn’sCastle provided.by.Finn]

on tap at the brewpub. one of two beers that i expected to be complete disasters which weren’t. aroma reminded me of a good nz gewuerztraminer. plenty of hemp character especially seed, quite sweet with a grassy finish, a bare minimum of hops in this but i think it works better having a pronounced hemp character

Dark yellow colored, slightly cloudy appearance. Again this handmade yeasty aroma with some flowery and lemony tone. Aroma does not differ very much from Helles I had earlier. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is soft with yeasty-flowers again, maybe hints of some herbs here, but not very obviously. Aftertaste dries mildly.
