Siebenstern’s interpretation of the Märzen - style is a rare example of the Viennesse lager beer invented in the 1840s by the innovative brewer Anton Dreher: Amber to red in colour with a creamy head it features a malty nose and a hearty flavour resembling walnuts and sponge cake. This medium bodied beer is hoppy and well balanced. It finishes surprisingly dry.

A quite fresh and ok ale.
Lovely deep golden color with a fine off white head. Looks great. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Malty, fruity and caramel.

Frisch vom Hahn im Biergarten der Brauerei. Bernsteinfarben im Glas aber leider erstaunlich etwas flach im Geschmack.

pferdo (23) - St. Pölten, AUSTRIA - FEB 14, 2016
Copper color, frothy head, somewhat hazy. Aroma is malty, with some caramel and fruity esters. Taste is rather sweet and dominated by the caramel malt character. Lively carbonation. Solid Märzen.

Tap. A bit hazy, colorful orange appearance with a cream colored head. Rich, slightly burnt, toasty caramel malty aroma. Light fruity, rich caramel malty

SinH4 (4797) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - NOV 22, 2015
Hazy amber-orange color with tan head. Aroma is bitter caramely, earthy, grassy, hints of tobacco. Taste is as expected, but the unfilteredness gives some nice spiciness and a pleasant smooth mouthfeel. One of the best Märzen I?ve ever had!

Beerhunter111 (20487) - P´Castle, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2015
On Tap at the brewbub. Klare orange goldene Farbe, mittelgroße leicht beige Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, Karamell, getreidig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, hohe restsüße, kaum hopfig.
