COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blond, unfiltered lager with a predominantly hoppy aroma and with noble old world hops from Saaz. Dry and refreshing "Wiener Helles" resembles German Pilsners. This creation by our Slovak Head Brewer Vlado Sedmak is one of the most popular beers at 7Stern Bräu.

Tap at the brewery. Aroma mostly hoppy, grassy, lightly earthy. Light yeast. Decent. Hazy yellow to golden colour, white head, moderate duration. Taste is rather bitter, but the hoppiness has somewhat sharp grassy/earthy tart quality. Other than that, also yeasty. Definitely not my beer of choice.

ogreface (1390) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 5, 2013
Kinézetre inkább egy kellerbeerre hasonlít, de ez nem hátrány. Illata is kicsit dohos, pincés, igen malátás, virágos, szénás. Ezek az ízében is jelentkeznek, pár gyógynövénnyel karöltve. Könnyű testű, meglepően kesernyés. Könnyű, kellemes és kiegyensúlyozott ivó sör.

Draught @ 7Stern. Cloudy, honey yellow color, short-life medium white head, floral aroma, from light to medium body, smooth fizziness, sweet malty creamy taste, sour hoppy palate. Well-balanced brew.

In bottle from vending at 7 Stern ... aroma and taste of corn almost ... didn’t enjoy this one and poured most of it. Not sure if the bottle was off but I would not buy again

Opaline yellow whith white short lasting head. Hoppy and herbal nose, yeast and pale malt taste, whith bread and vegetables notes. Standard helles with small character

At the Brewpub. Hazy gold beer, decent white head. Crispy palate, semi dry. Mild minerals. Nutty malt, malt cream. Semi dry finish. A little bland but fresh.

Tap at 7 Stern. It pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, white bread, faint spice, grass and some icing sugar. The taste is grass, dough, flour, light spice, earth, pithy citrus, lemon and lime with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A decent helles.

(Tap) Es ist Hellgelb, unfiltriert mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist süß, karamellig und leicht würzig. Der Geschmack ist vollmundig, leicht getreidig, süß, würzig, spritzig und bitter.

Bottle from brewpub. Slightly hazy golden colour, thick soapy frothy white head fades to a loose cap. Pronounced Saaz spice on the nose, hint of sulphur, straw, dry grass. Soft biscuity malts, some lemon freshness, barest hint of caramel sweetness, big dry lager malts, white pepper and a touch of lemon bitterness in a soft dry finish. Not bad.
