Growler. Slight creamy head. Light malty aroma. Slightly cloudy amber color. Hint of fruitiness with a strong bitter finish. Very drinkable, and pretty decent.

Deep amber color with significant haze. Frothy, dense off-white head. Light, bitter-sweet malty aroma. Medium malty, nutty flavor. Very well balanced. Good red ale and I usually don’t like these but this one finishes with a nice little dose of hops. The cascade is very nice in this beer. it covers the glass completely 100% in a white blanket.

Draft. All malt here. Sweet with some fruity esters. slight bitter in the finish. Worth the time.

Indra (2711) - Suburbia, Kansas, USA - NOV 26, 2004
Toasty, fruity aroma, notes of apple skin, pear, brown sugar sweetness and some bready/grainy red maltimess. Clear, bright orange-red color, with a fine, slight, creamy head. Flavor profile is pretty well-balanced, sweet, fruity, bready and lightly bitter; the sweetness and festive fruitiness up front, followed by the bready tones and some spicy hop flavors, bringing a fair amount of bitterness. Smooth palate, easily drinkable. Particularly good beer from this brewer, for the style especially.

seamus77 (31) - kansas city, Missouri, USA - JUL 17, 2006
cask. amber in colour, light on the hops compared to blvd’s irish, miniscule head, malt and to a lesser extent caramel, while not mind-blowing, still quite drinkable and went quite well with the nachos, portabello chile, and spent- grain bread. this is a food-ale, thirst-quenching, and doesn’t compete with the menu. a pleasant brew overall.

BlackDonald (1126) - Gulf Shores, Alabama, USA - JUN 4, 2008
Pours a darker reddish burnt auburn color, with frothy rocky head that dissipates pretty quickly. Pretty straight forward here, not suprisingly complex, just simple and drinkable. Lots of ample roastiness and some spicy hopsm turning dry in the finish, with just a hint of dried fruit.

badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAY 10, 2011
Light copper brown with a creamy white head. Toffee and caramel aroma and taste with a bready finish.
