Yellow with white head. Aroma of light sour and hay. Lemon grass, hay, and barnyard notes to me. Medium body with nice carbonation.

375mL at RBWG thanks to the brewers. Pours a clear, bright golden, white foam. Nose is a bit odd- phenolic, pickles, salty. Taste is sweeter, pickles, sugar, not funky, more sugar. Pretty much Abbey Tripel. Palate is a bit papery, sticky. Wasn’t my favorite.

12 oz bottle to taster (thanks Mark!). Looks good; a transparent light orange with thin white lacing. Smells. And tastes good too; doughy and yeasty with a nice Chardonnay influence. Good on the palate too. Good beer!

Bottle at RBWG opening dinner. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream head. Some honey, doughy malts, mild alcohol, white sugarss. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further honey notes, light doughy yeast, hints of alcohol. Very nice.

This beer is wildly unique. The brett strain that 7venth sun uses is completely different then any other. Aroma is coconut, lime, banana, and potent oak. Taste is vinous, pina colada, and huge spicy oak. Great beer.

Big thanks to collin, wow this is great. Aromas of coconut sun screen. Light bretty yeast aroma. Great barrel aging

Bottle:   Bright straw, orange hued, hazy, moderate frothy white head, nice lacing.   Big white wine nose, otherwise a bit mealy, yeasty, and a touch fruity.   Bright on the tongue, sweet, a bit Tripel like, with a strong Chardonnay aspect.   This one feels a bit warming.   Thankfully not too sticky.   Body and mouthfeel are smooth albeit moderate.   Finish seems to dominate with white grapes and/or Chardonnay.   Wonder how a 3 month old aged example would fair as this one the barrel dominates a bit too much for my tastes.
