Poured a deep brown color with aromas if caramel, dead hops, light earth aromas some liquorice. Flavors really the same aged well nice and light booze with malts, solid. BiiruBierBeer (1059) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 25, 2015
Smell of malt, licorice, caramel, and bourbon. Taste is the same except for a HEAVY aftertaste of a mix of hops and mineral water. Thicker mouthfeel but palate is lowered due to the aftertaste. Ibrew2or3 (8912) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JUN 26, 2014
Woodshed 3.0! I got this so long ago I’m not sure who sent it to me. The 16oz swing top bottle pours with a deep copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up apricot mixed with brown sugar covered red apple slices and some caramel and molasses. The taste delivers molasses and pine hop bitterness and hop flavor. It then flows into some apricot like fruitiness and crusty dried caramel. Pretty tasty stuff. BOLTZ7555 (3028) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUN 21, 2014
Have wanted to try this brewery for a while and was able to @ Woodshed 3.0 thanks to ibrew2or3! Nice golden tangerine pour with a dark crimson body. Eggshell head that left a spot or two. Honey-baked biscuit, toffee, caramel, and dark fruit, accompanied by candied citrus, butterscotch, and almond. Just a splash of grapefruit. Solid construction here and everything compliments. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 15, 2014
Caramel brown color, light yellowish/tan head. Caramel malt, resinous hops, some honey, golden raisins. Pretty good.

On draft at 7venth Sun. Pours a hazy caramel brown with an off-white head. Nose is big toffee, almost a nutty quality, caramel, and piney hops. Flavor is similar- malty toffee with hops all over it- toffee, nuts, and piney hops. A lot like a double IPA, but a big malt backbone. Enjoyable beer. jcartamdg (3539) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Dark brown no head, aroma of caramel malt and hops. Taste follows, malty yet hoppy. smooth, not too heavy. The hops are very citrusy. This is pretty amazing, I'm not a big barley wine fan but this is on a whole other level from other barleywines.

on tap @ 7venth Sun. great balance between the bready malts and moderate hop character. Doesn’t kill you with the hops and alcohol heat. I bet the barrel treatments are going to be phenomenal.
