7thenth Sun Donut. Porter is a top shelf porter. Not much aroma. Pours dark with a tan head. Initial taste is a glazed donut followed by chocolate notes. Finish is dry. Donut Porter is a well done specimen of the style. tkrjukoff (4334) - SWEDEN - MAY 16, 2013

on tap at grand opening. Pitch black with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet and roasty malts, some chocolate. taste follows with a great balance of sweetness to bitterness. solid porter! pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 25, 2012
12oz bottle from a recent trade.... pours a dark cola porterish hued consistencey, less intese and paler at the edges, and topped with a thin wispy powder white collar... aroma is light roast, cocoa and milk chocolate, and a sweeter maple sensibility on the backend... flavors follow suit with cocoa, roast, and spent grains. can get a bit of that donut essence but the porter with its roasty edges play the dominant role here. sweet through the midde and beyond with a touch of roasty bitterness on the backend. shy of medium body profile with a carbonation on the lighter side.
