Draft in snifter. Pours a light gold with slight haze. This to medium head and moderate lace. Aroma of citrus and earth/soil. Bitter taste with floral and citrus overtones. Dry finish. Would be a good session beer but too high at 5.9%. Surprised abh is so high. OmegaX (1374) - Florida, USA - FEB 24, 2013
On tap at 7venth sun. Nose is big grapefruit and citrus, bitter hops, grainy/bready notes. Pour is burnt orange color with a fluffy white head. Taste follows, with tons of citrus and bitter hops, a lightly malty backbone and a soapy touch on the finish. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 22, 2013
Draft. Clear amber body with medium off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit, light straw. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, orange, some apricot. Light-medium body, light resin. Huhzubendah (3701) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 17, 2012
The beer is golden orange with a small white head. The aroma offers some light hop character with mild citrus. The beer is light bodied, and while the flavor is somewhat subtle relative to other beers of this ilk, everything comes together nicely. Light citrus and a mild hop bill. Malt profile is light, but enough to support the various flavors. Overall, pretty good.

Growler provided by Dosbeerigos. Light in color, golden brown with a big fluffy head. Aroma is mostly a mix between grapefruit and earthy hops. Flavor not as bitter as Overhead but it makes for a good sipping beer. Rustyham (1836) - St. Petersburg, Florida, USA - AUG 3, 2012
Very simple, soft, smooth simple pale Ale. Balanced and easy drinking, slight citrus in the front. Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 2, 2012
Pours hazy golden orange with a big off white head and decent lacing. The aroma brings dry light piney hop notes, like dry crushed hop heads. The flavor brings juicy orange hop flavors on a decent body with a solid ending, so nice off tap into the growler. jcwattsrugger (12418) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2012
on tap-pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is some resin, light malt-toffee. Taste follows.

Tap at 7venth Sun. Low haze straw pour with webby, white lace. Nose is super rich Amarillo hops, buttery toffee, caramel, fresh and rich dichotomy. Taste is nutty, rich, butterscotch, loads of the elusive "quenching" malty character found in Alesmith IPA, original batch Ballast Point Sculpin, a few others. Oily, rich palate. No astringency, no tannins, no heavy sugar body, no aggressive bitterness. A masterpiece IPA. Really at this abv, it should be moved to IPA from APA.
