Copper color with a two finger head that sticks around leaving great lacing behind. Aroma of strong citrus notes, dank hops and pure deliciousness! Taste follows the nose bitter but with a decent malt backbone, slightly sweet but very slightly not too much. This is a great pale ale the boarders on ipa. Really showcases the Amarillo hop. Easy and smooth beer, hides alcohol well. I want more!

Draft at the source. Hazy orange color. Aroma of orange peel and white bread. Taste is nice citrus, flowers. Best pale ale I’ve had for a long, long time.

Hazy light amber with a good rich head. Big, weedy amarillo nose. Rich bitterness, very dry with just a slight sweetness late. Very refreshing.

Growler from Seventh Sun. Pours a nice orange copper with a white head. Nose is awesome- I get all manner of piney hops with some wonderful citrus bursts from within. This nose is awesome- I don’t know what happened to the growler the gents rating this before me got, but the nose is the best part of this beer. Flavor is similar- hops recede a bit, so the assault is not as brutal as the nose made it seem, but still very strong. Light to medium in body and a aromatic assault.

Tap at 7venth Sun. Low haze straw pour with webby, white lace. Nose is super rich Amarillo hops, buttery toffee, caramel, fresh and rich dichotomy. Taste is nutty, rich, butterscotch, loads of the elusive "quenching" malty character found in Alesmith IPA, original batch Ballast Point Sculpin, a few others. Oily, rich palate. No astringency, no tannins, no heavy sugar body, no aggressive bitterness. A masterpiece IPA. Really at this abv, it should be moved to IPA from APA.

Several times at the tasting room, nice crisp tasting Pale Ale, can’t believe it’s nearly 7%! Nothing too strong in the aroma, just right for me, the appearance is a golden colour with a nice head, tastes of citrus and hoppy. Great beer overall!!

Pours hazy golden orange with a big off white head and decent lacing. The aroma brings dry light piney hop notes, like dry crushed hop heads. The flavor brings juicy orange hop flavors on a decent body with a solid ending, so nice off tap into the growler.
