Bottle during RBWG. Pours a cloudy copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong cocoa, roast, molasses. Medium mouth with strong dark fruit, toffee, molasses, sweet finish. Good.

Molasses dark sugar brown body.
Banana pudding esters similar to an Ommegang Dubbel. Hint of black pepper. Overall lighter body than expected, not explosive in flavor. Clean.

Tap. Poured hazy reddish/brown color with an average brown head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex dark fruit, caramel and small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy complex chocolate dark sweet flavor with medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a solid beer.

Poured from a tap. Cloudy purple brown color, small off white head. Burnt malt and band aid smell. Light body sweet malt and alcohol taste.

On tap at the Brass Tap, poured dark brown with aromas of chocolate, dark fruit, cand sugar and some light yeast. Flavors follow suit, decent alcohol bite to it, but still a solid beer.

Tap at proof. Chocolate brown pour opaque with thick manila head. Aroma of chocolate and prunes. Taste is similar with dark red fruits chocolate and gram cracker notes. Good heavy beer thick mouth feel and warming character. This is a great winter beer.

Draft at Proof. Deep amber pour with a rocky white head. Dark fruity aroma with Belgian candy sugars, and yeast esters. Slightly sweeter on the palate with touches of chocolate and toffee, dark fruits, candy sugar and yeast notes. Thick mouthfeel with good bubbles. Tasty.

On draught at the Proof FL Tap Invitational! Pours a dark brown mahogany color with thin ring of tan lacy head. Aroma is Belgian yeast and associated dark fruit esters, some phenolic notes. Taste is all dark fruit, hints of tobacco and wood, dark chocolate. Bubbly on the tongue, goes down easy for the abv. Nice beer.

On tap at mellow mushroom, aroma is dark fruit, appearance is dark with no head, taste is just like the nose on this. Very good beer
