Finally found my notes from Cajun Cafe Fall Beer Fest where I had this! Pours a nice orange color with a white head. Nose is a healthy bit of caramel along with a healthy bit of citrus with some pine in there as well. Flavor is a burst of hops that borders on the West Coast style with a healthy malt backbone that refuses to let the hops eclipse it. Medium in body and nice overall.

On tap at brewery, poured an amber color with aromas of citrus, pine, and some caramel mixed in. Flavors are the same, the pine overpowers the hops but still has a nice grapefruit bitterness overall.

Sampled from the tap at the Cajun Cafe Falle Fest. Pours a hazy amber orange with a large tan head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma is full of grapefruit and a bit of dank pine with an underlying earthy grain note. Flavor is quite dank with pine and a hint of bitter grapefruit that lead to a bit of a dank finish.

Draft. Poured a clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and small malt aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. I was recommended this by a freind and enjoyed.

Growler shared by Dosbeerigos. Dark amber color, fluffy head, good carbonation. Aroma is slightly floral with hints of citrus and grapefruit. Bitter flavor but easy to drink.

b3shine (9072) - Indiana, USA - NOV 23, 2012
Draft to 4 oz pour at the brewery. Looks decent; dark though. A semi-transparent orangish-brown with white lacing. Smells solid; hoppy and malty. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. A decent example of the style.
