3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2012 Draft... Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is bursting-at-the-seams with both fuzzy fruits and tropical fruits. Full-bodied and velvety with soft carbonation. The flavor is constructed with a solid caramel malt foundation, but spicy, fruity, juicy hop bitterness really steals the show – even as the beer’s temperature approaches 80° sitting outdoors on a pleasant late summer Florida day. Finishes medium bitter and tongue numbing.
On draft at 7venth Sun. Pours a hazy orange-yellow with an off-white head. Nose is malt, light tropical fruit, grapes. Flavor is similar hop bite: nice malt backbone and Nelson/ Citra- esque hop bite. Light to medium in body and very enjoyable. Ibrew2or3 (8913) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 21, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. It pours up clear copper with white head and full up total coverage sheet lacing. The aroma begins almost pine hop like with thin rings of mango and peach. As I take additional whiffs the pine might just be a good dose of bitter resiny hops. Nice. The taste is similar and is somewhat caramel malts that get crushed by a mix of pine hops and a smooth blend of mango and tangelo hoppy goodness. There’s a pleasing mix of hop flavor and hop bitterness that gives this depth, interest and richness and yet it stays pretty darn refreshing. Dark Amber ipa color. Aroma is sweet bitter citrus father. Flavor is weird, Oud dust, hops, poppy seeds, onion. Cardboard in the end. burg326 (5630) - Florida, USA - JUL 7, 2012
On draft at Cigar City, poured a dark orange color, aromas of citrus, and and fresh grapefruit. Flavors are citrusy, light caramel, and nice grapefruit at the end. Doesn’t taste like a booze bomb, balanced nicely, great beer overall.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a thick sticky head, great lacing. Aroma of Nelson hops, very citrusy. Tastes like grapefruit with a reasonable malt backbone. Smooth and ridiculously easy to drink for an 8.5 percenter.
