Bottle. Brewdog, Sheffield. Clear, chestnut brown. Minimal, beige head. Pear drops. Coffee. Chocolate. Caramel. As it warms, the pear drop thing lifts, and the caramel and coffee deepens. Taste is full on bitter. Both hoppy, and roast malt. Some coffee astringency on the palate. Stays smooth, and rich. Finishes long, pithy, roast coffee bitter. A grower. By the time I’d finished this, I was loving it... anstei (2608) - Zurich, SWITZERLAND - FEB 28, 2015
500ml bottle from Slowbeer. Pours clear brown with a medium head. Coffee notes in the aroma, next to a typical brown ale nose. This combination is also very present in the taste, and it works well. There’s not much else to say; It’s interesting and good, but not blowing my mind. alberti92 (159) - - FEB 9, 2015
Bottle from cellarbrations super store in hami hill. Pours a dark brown with a thin tan head. Coffee makes up most of the aroma with some tobacco smoke. Carbonation is low with a medium body. Taste is cold coffee with some brown sugar. Finish is bitter sweet. This was delicious! deanso (10101) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - FEB 6, 2015

The coffee bean smell make you think you are in Starbucks. There is also a hint of vanilla. Huge fluffy white head, beautiful caramel color! The taste is just like it smells, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, caramel. The swallow is sweet, bitter, perfect combination. Just the right amount of ABV. Warning this tastes way to good to have more than one because you can’t put it down and with the 8% ABV, it’s way too easy to drink. Be careful, it will creep on you if you have two!!!! Great Beer! Bottle during exams. Pours clear dark ruby copper with a beige fizzy head. Aroma is very coffee forward with a somewhat powdery and roasted coffee. also you get some subtle notes of caramel, dark malts, cocoa beans and some nuts. Also a weak spicy character which might come from the coffee as well. nice and simple aroma. The taste is also very coffee forward with an earthy and roasted coffee flavor. I also get some bitter roasted malts, weak sweet fruityness, some caramel, cocoa beans and some bitter nuts. Overall a slight bitter and roasted taste. I like the direction of this brown ale which takes the style away from just being a somewhat sweet nutty and caramel thingy. This one has a nice edge to it. More sweet notes are coming through as this warms. One of the better brown ales I’ve had! FunkyF (1335) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JAN 12, 2015
Flaska från Riga. Brun med ljusbrunt skum. Doft av sött kaffe och lite choklad. Söt med mycket kaffe och mörk choklad. Garry_Evans (71) - HONG KONG - JAN 12, 2015
Interesting, but more chilli than coffee. Beautiful to look at: nutty brown with huge beige head. Aroma of red chilli, toast, burnt chocolate. Soft on the palate with pepper bite that lingers. Chocolate rather than coffee. Rather weird but tasty.

Bue en bouteille de 66cl. Sans surprise, café ultra-present tout au long de la dégustation. Amertume finale. Correcte mais sans plus.
