On tap at cookie. Great, complex beer. Aroma of coffee beans, chocolate, and toast. Taste is sweet and bitter, with hints of sourness, and long length. Palate is syrupy, and full bodied. Dark brown, with a frothy head. bmeup (679) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - APR 26, 2014
I like Brown Ales a lot, this one is exceptional. Easy to see why this is so popular. Great Brown Ale. Benjo87 (4) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 21, 2015 does not count
Poured from bottle. Pours like a typical brown ale. Doesn’t retain a lot of head.
Smell - Loads of coffee! I really like the smell of the coffee, you can tell its gonna be good.
Taste - wow! Who would have thought a coffee brown ale, could have as much depth as a stout. This is a great beer. Taste follows the nose beautifully. It’s a little thin on the palate, but it’s a brown ale, not a stout, so that’s expected. If you’re a coffee lover, you’ll love this. I put this right up there with some of the top coffee stouts. So well balanced. You would never guess this is 8%, the alcohol is extremely well hidden. Highly recommend. pmuzz (400) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 30, 2012
What can I say, amazing beer! Really worth a try as it has all the goodies in it. A perfect winters beer. skortila (5967) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - APR 11, 2014
Bottled. Full 0,5 liter sample. The aroma has caramel, nuts, coffee, roast, some piney hops. Dark brown coloured beer with a short, off-white head. The taste is sweet in the beginning and ends bitter dry. It has a good balance between the caramel malts and the coffee. If you think about how you would want a coffee infused brown ale, then this beer is just exactly how you want it to be. Really great.

8wired fouble coffe brown ale
Tap @ Hoprevolution Vol.2. Aroma is full of caramel, sweet wig fruit - and actually not too much coffee. Well, maybe a bit. Coffee-chocolate. Caramel pudding. You can feel coffee creme cake and some more coffee chocolate in the taste. At the end there is espresso, a nice espresso, coming through and dominating the taste. Maybe this is the best coffee beer that I have ever had. Aftertaste is long, full of coffee and malt sweetness. With some hops of course. This beer is made for sipping, not for gulping. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - APR 13, 2014
Rich coffee aroma, but also nutty, caramel, lots of hops and a balancing yeast. Delicious strong taste, bitter, coffee, resin hops. Amazing brew. So rich and delicious. (Bottle brought by Bertanne from De Molen) motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 10, 2014
bottle from pivni rozmanitost in prague. more black than brown with a fluffy brown head; aroma of mudcake dough, vanilla cream and, of course, coffee beans; loads of bitter chocolate flavours, rice krispies, good whack of bitterness, beautifully balanced Mrnoluv (356) - long beach, California, USA - JAN 18, 2015
The coffee bean smell make you think you are in Starbucks. There is also a hint of vanilla. Huge fluffy white head, beautiful caramel color! The taste is just like it smells, coffee, cocoa, vanilla, caramel. The swallow is sweet, bitter, perfect combination. Just the right amount of ABV. Warning this tastes way to good to have more than one because you can’t put it down and with the 8% ABV, it’s way too easy to drink. Be careful, it will creep on you if you have two!!!! Great Beer! bulldogops (2726) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 16, 2016
Rating #1875 - 2015.08.31 - Draught - Three Boars. Pours a rich copper brown with a tan foam. Aroma is coffee grounds, earth, woodsmoke. Palate is mild caramel toffee, strong earthy roasty coffee. Extraordinary depth of coffee flavour, decent bitterness. Lovely stuff.
