Sour is generally a challenge for me. But this is more sour IPA than saison. More to my taste. Also cherry is a different twist. It works well. A black IPA with roasted coffee and chocolate in the malt alongside tart from the cherry. Desert and coffee in a bottle. Ungstrup (39312) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 23, 2018
Bottled. A red-brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of hops, citrus fruits, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, malt, citrus fruits, and straw, leading to a tart finish. Paddycairns (111) - - FEB 14, 2018

Pours black color with a huge off-white head. Aroma has the usual CDA elements; hops, citric notes, some ashy maltiness and subtle caramel, faint licorice. Flavor is mostly citric, very subtle sourness only, licorice, burnt malts and some hop bitterness. Quite pleasant actually, not as sour as I thought, good.
Not bad! (but then I was afraid it would suck!) Lightly tart, roast and smoke notes. Light citrus hops. Definitely weird with so many things going on at once, but they made it work. anders37 (28157) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 31, 2017
