Cloudy orange pour from bottle. Frothy head. Fruity floral aroma. Delicious. Slight bitterness, great hops. Spices and citrus subtle backbone. Awesome IPA overall

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2013 Aroma has surprising amount of caramel malt which then recedes a bit and allows the fruity, grassy, citrusy and piney hops to start spilling over. The delicious oily mouthfeel makes it feel like drinking liquid, beer-flavoured caramel. Lots of activity in the after taste, the usual citric and piney suspects, and also a hint of strawberries and cream. RE-RATE: 2nd bottle Taste is same but aroma! Oh! The hops are completely hidden behind an industrial strength vanilla wine/ sponge cake-with-mock-cream malty sweetness. Im not a fan of sponge cake with mock cream, but boy does it ever smell good on this baby.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2013 On tap at Pomeroys in Christchurch. Nice amber colour with creamy head. Tastes of pine and citrus and malt flavours and lovely after taste on the palate. This was one of the beers I came to NZ to try and wasn?t disappointed. Like the Super Conductor, fantastic beer and lives up to its high reputation. All in all a great beer and right up there with the best.

Nice citrus, passionfruit & hemp. Nice texture, a tad too bitter and I liked the standard Hopwired a tad better.

Bottle at home from bottleshop
very hazy amber with strong passion fruit and gooseberry. Plenty of damp hops woody notes too. High carbonation, juicy medium bodied, gooseberries up front, lupulin punch on tip of tongue. Long pithy tropical bitter finish.

Bottle at the Local Pub, Halandri, Athens. This beer is a blend of an IPA wet-hopped with Motueka hops and an IPA wet-hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops. Unfiltered. Aroma: Much lemony, sugary goodness bursts as soon as I open the bottle. Hard to describe. Extremely fruity (citrus, berries, tropical fruit, banana, pear). Mild aromas of green olives, yeast and more. Fresh, indeed. Awesome. Mouthfeel: Full, oily body. Taste: Bitter and dry. Unripe greens, lemon rind, fruit skins... Finish: Dry, bitter, tangy. Great. Overall: Very good IPA for citrusy taste lovers.
