A great IPA less hoppy then the california variants. Pours a very nice deep orange with not much, but thick head. Smells of tropical fruit, lemon and strawberry. Taste is very berry, with a great balance of hops. No overly bitter finish. Paired with mozzarella sticks, some more hops are brought out. Had in the bottle. niklasdietz (85) - DENMARK - JUL 22, 2014
Draught at Mikkeller. Pours amber with a fine off white head and severe lacings. Aroma is wonderful: pine, peach, mango and sweet malts. Taste is almost as convincing. Long, delicate bitterness and oily mouthfeel. Great IPA!

Draught. Clear dark amber pour with white head. Aroma is complex with sweet malty base and fruity notes. Nice bitterness with full body. Was quite flat at the beginning but it realky opened up. bax (1311) - Hasselager, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2014
(tap 19/07-2014) low white head, clear amber color, dry hoppy aroma, soft co2, good bitterness, very long hoppy taste. WheatKing (1338) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - JUL 17, 2014
On tap at the Roundhouse, Hong Kong. Pours dark amber, slight white head. Nose is pungent hop spice/earth, very sugary caramel. Flavour is sweet but balanced pretty well with the dirt hops. Finishes semisweet. Pretty sticky. Has a lot of depth.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium amber, with a moderate off-white head, which lasts well and leaves good lacing. Kiwifruit, lychee, mild mango and floral hops mix with soft toffee to create the aroma. Kiwifruit and mango hops up front give way to burnt caramel malt in the mid-palate. Melon and floral hops come in at the finish. A nice IPA, with good NZ hops flavours. MunBro (942) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 7, 2014
Fresh bottle from Sherbrooke Liquor in YEG, AB. Pours a deep golden amber with a foamy white head, tons of nice lacing. Aroma is of hops and malts, not as aromatic as any other 8-Wired offering (and I have tried 90% of them) which is odd. Taste is amazing. Like the original the NZ hops are fresh, vibrant and citrusy to the max. Tons of tropical flavours from kiwis, guavas, pineapples to tangerines and nectarines. Nice malt backbone that isn’t overpowering. My only minor complaint about the original was that I would like the hops a bit wetter and this delivers it for me. A truly sublime beer! nealblind (1865) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - JUN 13, 2014
Clear gold pour. Aroma of grape, diesel, butter burnt herbs. Tastes is malty with burnt herbs. Light carb, some minerals. Splitenz (370) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 29, 2014
Smells like the perfect IPA. Tastes like a your ideal IPA. Gorgeous, oily fresh hops pulling your mouth in all kinds of directions. Dry, bitter, sweetly citrus and pineaple. Good amount of alcohol tickles the nose and warms your chest. Terrific! mkel07 (5978) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - MAY 25, 2014
500ml bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. Rating from early 2014. Pours a golden amber with a tinge of orange throughout. Aroma is pleasant and not overpowering.
