The head is good, the body orange-red, It smells hoppy, flowery, interesting, good. The taste is interesting, hoppy, creamy, a bit bitter, flowery, refreshing. Nice! airrick2003 (872) - Louisiana, USA - NOV 11, 2013
Appearance: a darker gold color, very hazy, not transparent, pours with no head
Aroma: bread, grain, spice, butter, something very unique about this aroma, perhaps some barnyard rotten egg
Taste: initially a strong grain and then followed immediately by hops and bitterness, grass, pine, coffee, spice
Palate: moderate to lively c02, leaves a bitter aftertaste, lighter mouthfeel
Overall: don't know where the aroma comes from because I don't get any of the wildness in the taste, very good taste by the way, lots of grain and hops which is my favorite

K, I know at this point this isn’t exactly "fresh" hopped at this point but my mule is concrete hard in anticipation. Cloudy orange hue and a small, compact light tan chapeau and thick lacing. Very fragrant tropical notes, gooseberries, guava, oranges, salt, peanut skins. Really excellent. This beer dranks pretty good. Got a hoppy wine like character. Tropics, lemon, light spice, thickness, light malt base, man - that Canada Post Edmonton Oilers 63¢ stamp with the cheering fan in the background is HORRENDOUS! Makes me laff every time. Marshmallow only in passing, this isn’t a wimpy beer - all flavour. I’ve really enjoyed this. Almost time for popcorn and rhe daily prostate exam. Tropical everything. NZ IPA’s rule. Enjoyed with Lagerboy over some whiffle. copper orange, nice head, thick lacing. BAM!! exlosive fresh hops, chewy resignous palate. this one is worth it. It has some fruity tones, but ulytimatley feels like you are gnawing on some fresh picked hops... May not be as well rounded as some would like, but its my type of Hoppy shot to the tonsils. Thanks for the treat Lagerboy. Cheers dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - OCT 31, 2013
Someone have this to me, but I probably wouldn’t have bought it. Best before is February 2014... It will be terrible by then. Aroma is a nice fruity citrus. Hop flavour is not a prominent as I would have expected. Lots of caramel malt, booze is quite present, but the hops do remain nice and night citrusy..

This is a superb beer. Golden orange with mild head but good lacing. Smells wonderful - fruits (grapefruit, citrus and apple), hops, some florals and malty cereals. Tastes nice and bitter but with enough things to complement it. An almost soapiness (which sounds bad but isn't). Texture is dry but not thin (somewhat oily in a nice way) with some carbonation. Really excellent. bcraig824 (7) - Kamloops, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 9, 2013 does not count
Pleasant tropical hoppy aroma. Great malty body that perfectly balances this IPA. Almost feels and tastes like a DIPA. High price but well worth it as an occasional treat to the tastebuds. bgb1991 (131) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 17, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2013 Sweet, rockmelon aroma. Not the most attractive beer with a hazy pour and minimal head retention. However a wonderfully fresh, fruity taste with a strong pine cone finish. The mouthfeel is complex and a bit confusing. A good switch up in the IPA scene though. Lagerboy (2206) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 9, 2013
500 ml bottle shared with Eyrish at the West Bay Whiffle. Opaque murky orange brown, foamy off-white head fades. Oily hoppy aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Intense bitter resinous hop taste all but drowns out any flavor of fruity hops and malts. Average carbonation, medium body, aggressively hopped. I much prefer the original version with it’s plethora of flavors, rather than a one dimensional hop bomb... then again, perhaps my palate is not as developed... either way, this wet hopped bad boy is: DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys) fonefan (49437) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 8, 2013
