UPDATED: AUG 19, 2012 Tap at the Albion Newcastle. Wow this was even better than in a bottle. Fantastic IPA, huge hoppy flavour that is exquisitely balanced. GreatLibations (1854) - Last Supper, Arizona, USA - DEC 10, 2012
One of the all time best IPA’s I’ve evre sipped. Pours a beautiful golden color with a lingering frothy head. Smells of bright, crisp and very fresh hop spice. Full nectar with excellent carbonation. Supreme hop essence balanced by a fat malt component. This brew just goes down so good and lingers on the tongue forever. Highest recommendation. aliquid (6) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 24, 2014 does not count
0.5l bottle at the Salt House, Galway, Ireland. Amber Colour, tropical fruits aroma, full body with rich, oily sensation in the mouth. And it is all about those unusual NZ hops, still balanced very well with the malt used. Probably the best beer in the world. :) beerrealmann (2) - - NOV 20, 2014 does not count
this is one beautiful IPA. I tasted it for the first time tonight, and it’s one of the most surprising beers i’ve tasted. surprisingly great. I got notes of mandarin in the palate. but it’s a lovely bright taste while holding a rich fullness of the hops.
I’m definately going to try it again soon beernest (2) - Shanghai, CHINA - DEC 4, 2014 does not count
