Dec ’14. A 0.5 l bottle courtesy of hrabren, great thanks for sharing! It poured slightly hazy amber to copper body with smaller head. Quite fine and balanced aroma of caramel and fine sugary malt from one side and hop happy paradise on the other. Flavor was predominately bitter, hoppy, somewhat fruity. Extremely complex but I did not elaborate further in my notes. Medium bodied, moderately smooth on palate. Finished lightly and continuously even less bitter, with some of the other flavor notes, caramel being most prominent all the time. Fine, really complex and asks to be enjoyed slowly, preferably out of the timed tasting session.

The ingredients used were noticeable and were as in the deScription, but this bottle seemed almost flat and that greatly changed the whole picture and not for the better. Pity. What was there was pretty good. gopherfan99 (2012) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 16, 2015

Just saw that cards rated this and then bodices I didn’t have a rating for it, despite having it multiple times. Cmon. This is a dumb rating but I really enjoyed this cards04 (2931) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - SEP 17, 2015
Wow..kind of shocked me as I was pouring. Thick and muddy. Reddish brown colour. Aromas oak, smoke, and vanilla. No booze present. Flavours are barrel, a bit of smoke but a great balance between malts and hop. A big beer to be sure. And a tasty one. Thanks Dresden. Jmar33 (210) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 29, 2015
Bottle. Nice clear amber colour. Big and boozy on the nose. Burnt caramel type flavours with a heap of bitterness. Great beer if you like strong, bitter beers.
