Drunk to celebrate another century this time the 204th - a beer from my fiancee’s home country. Bottled. A red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, lending it notes of lemon and elderflowers, combined with notes of caramel, and alcohol. The flavor is caramel, malt, hops, alcohol, and lemon, leading to a quite bitter finish. joergen (29611) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JAN 2, 2011

Bottle shared with Mes&Sim , Leighton and Scopey at the CP&K. Cheers! Clear brown beer with a good light brown head. Softish palate. Rich malt with whispers of coffee and chocolate. Quite a vibrant malt here actually! A little hop bitterness and mild citrus in the finish. Not immediately obvious but after a while you realise this is quite a sweetish beer. A very decent brown ale, one of the best I’ve tried!

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a clear dark orangey brown with a creamy beige head. Sweet pleasant roasty nose with some nuts and vanilla. Medium body, solid roast with vanilla accents and nuts. Somewhat citric from the hops that also add to a solid hoppy finish. Well done Søren. 050411
