UPDATED: MAY 28, 2016 on tap at Erzbierschof, september 2014. Cloudy dark orange color with little foam. Hoppy and sweet in aroma, nice balance between piney and fruity hop aromas and aromas of sweet caramel. Heavy body, little carbonation. Taste reflects the aroma well, with a decent bitterness in the finish. Very enjoyable.bottle, may 2016. Still similar to what I wrote in my first rating. A very jammy, warming, but also somehow dry Double IPA.

Keg at BD ShepBush. Clear pale orange pour, dying off white head. Big dank hops on the nose, both orangey and NZ tropical wine notes. Sweet light caramel malt, big orangey bitterness and some juicy notes, dank as fukc. Good body without being overwhelming, quite spiky carb, oily, long finish. Good gear.

Bottle. Its a more or less clear one, quite pale in color and with an off-white head. Some curtains. Theres lots of flour in the aroma, with mint, pine cones and resins. Some pale malts. Its full bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level. Malty sweetness in the flavor, with flour, pine cones and some resins. A nice bitterness kicking in towards the end. Sure, its a nice one, but Im not convinced. 140822

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2014 Had this twice in two nights. From Draft, hazy dark amber with a thin off white head just leaving a ring around the glass. Aroma of hops and candy. Flavors of strong hops, candy, herbs, malts, hints of pepper, and grass. Nice full body, warm finish, medium bitterness and alcohol finish. long flavors in mouth. The first time tasting it is was pleasant, the second was less. It was heavy, heavy in alcohol and was very unbalanced. Over sweet and over liquored, quite queasy. No so enjoyable the second time, will not have it a third time.

Bottle - 500ml. Beautiful, cloudy, dark gold body with good carbonation and a fading off-white bubbly head. Very nice hoppy aroma with mango, orange, yeasty, and honeyish hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries herbal, citrusy, piney, and coriander notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very enjoyable DIPA.
