drjoeng (1291) - SINGAPORE - MAR 5, 2016
8.8%ABV. Imperial IPA. Tapped out a rich amber. 16°SRM. Nose has nice rich pine freshness. There is also the aroma of ripe pineapple and sweet citrus, like ripe tangerines or Yuzu. There is also a residual sweet maltiness to the nose. Very inviting. Mouthfeel is soapy. The palate is graham cracker, caramel, burnt sugar and toasty malt sweet. A good base upon which to taste the hops which are pine, grass, light resin and sap. Finish is medium and satisfying. Goes on Favorites List!

Subtle caramel aroma is very attractive. Clear golden color grabs your eyes and a very smooth malty taste is very well balanced with slightly bitter taste. Better than I’ve expected!

Poured into Teku from bottle. This is a strong beer. A heavy one for hop lovers, not my particular style. Aroma is sweet with bitter hops. Thin white head. Solid for this style.

TheBeerMason (7) - - FEB 20, 2016 does not count
Served in 500ml bottle at THE BEER MASONS on Koh Tao, aroma of caramel and pine, nice dry and bitter, just the way i like it. If you fancy IIPA this is the one.

Earplay (51) - NEW ZEALAND - FEB 14, 2016
500ml bottle exp 12/16. Golden straw colour, aroma is primarily sweet floral/tropical hops, some spice/pine in the finish. Taste follows nose, punchy, juicy saturated hop flavour. Impressively clean/pale malt profile for the abv, definitely lets the hops shine. Full bodied but very drinkable. One of the better options in this category, worth finding fresh.

slowrunner77 (12051) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JAN 10, 2016
Bottle - doesn’t seem terribly fresh bit still quite nice, just maltier than I usually like. Tropical fruit aroma and flavor is light, with caramel and bready malt, light yeast and ample bitterness.

rouhlas (3616) - GREECE - DEC 28, 2015
From tap. Clear golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, bready, pine, citrusy fruity, grapefruit. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

User369532 (907) - - DEC 17, 2015
Bottle. Golden color, clear liquid, no head. Lower carbonation. Very hoppy, pleasant bitter in finish. Medium sweet. Very good, but not as good as Hopwired IPA.

maekchu (3911) - Hirakata, JAPAN - DEC 7, 2015
Bottle from Asahiya. Large tropical fruit nose, with caramel, citrus, and all very fruity and a bit stinky. Medium-dark copper/orange color. Malty initial, caramel, piney hop. The hops ramp up with each sip. Somewhat minerally. Medium heavy, and a bit warming. In yer face, nose, and palate. Very good.

procraste (472) - FRANCE - DEC 6, 2015
L’étiquette donne pas envie, mais: Nez fruité et houblonné ... Même sans l’approcher du verre. En bouche, c’est fortement houblonné mais avec une certaine rondeur. Résineuse et notes agrumes...
