Bottle from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a clear gold with a medium-sized white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Lots of grapefruit and citrus on the nose with some grass and mango along with some caramel and honey. Fairly sweet followed by bitterness. Bitter finish that has some wood and grass, but lots of fruit. Only flaw is the booziness but the flavors are there.

Bottle. This erupted a little bit from under the cap. Combined with a little bit of a wild, woody bite that doesn’t seem to fit, I wonder if I got a bad bottle. The ample head is also a bit watery and quick to die. Underneath these little imperfections lurks more of what I expected -- earthen, biting and carried atop a solid oaky base. (#6036, 9/20/2015)

Very slight aroma but distinctly fruity. Golden and cloudy with a nice thick head. Flavour is tropical fruit with just enough fruit sweetness to balance the bitterness. The bitterness really comes through on the finish; it is like you just ate a piece of grapefruit.

L: pours a clear slightly orangey bright gold with a tiny bit of lacing. S: typical nose for this style, very seducing tropical fruits and pine. T: tastes a lot like the nose, but not the bitter hop bomb I was expecting, more flavourful like a Sculpin. F: it’s surprisingly crisp and dry, quite a refreshing light body, hides the ABV ridiculously well. O: I really am a sucker for a crisp fruity west coast-style IPA, and this fits the bill.

Draught at Brewdog. Rich citrus hop character, bitter grapefruit with a caramel edge, pineapple, somewhat a bit too boozy, notes of mint, dry bitter finish. Ok hoppy iipa but I have yet to be super impressed by a kiwi brew.

mateuszk (2769) - Poznań, POLAND - JUL 30, 2015
Bottle. Aroma is tropical fruits, grapefruit, lychee and malty sweetnees in the back. In taste it is completely hops upfront, great grapefruit bitterness. The beer is dry in the finish. Nice DIPA, quite old bottle, but still tasty.

Bottle 500 ml. Aroma of tropical fruits. Taste: some sweet, wine and warming, a little pine and grapefruit.

Amber pour with a medium amount of white head. Aggressive fruit and hops flavor and aroma. Everything I want out of an Imperial IPA

Bottle from hop hideout, sheffield. Clear yellow with small white head. Aroma is grapefruit and lychee. Taste is tangy and bitter. Oily full body and mild carbonation. Good.

Bottle pour at home split thanks Andrew for sharing. Golden pour, tones of hops in this beer, smooth with a nice bite.
