This is to beer what a director’s cut is to cinema. Long finish. Misty almost cloudy, looks like a mixture of peach nectar and weak darjeeling tea. Not much head and little lacing but it has an almost oily, yet creamy palate. Very yeasty. Makes me want to go bake yeast bread and slather it with mounds of fresh butter. The nose is subdued. I think there might be some caramel and something of fruity chewing gummy: it has so much flavour but it eludes me. This is a work of what molecular biologists call ’gremlins’ - mystery, black magic and serendipity. I wonder if Soren can do it again. I will be impressed if he does.
Get it while you can.
