Sampled draft @ Saint-Gilles CML. Clear golden orange, little white head. Nose is pleasant lightly stale grains, faintly sweet. Taste is lightly dull grain with some sugar, low sweetness, largely basic sweet grain, cereal, sugar, low honey. Body is basic grain. Funny, the scores for this one are awful & I found it pretty decent, other Eight Degrees beers which I tried had good scores but I didn’t care too much for me.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally strawy and spicy, pale malty aroma, a touch of white bread, yeast dough. Taste is pale malty, some malty spiciness, hints of yeast dough, herbal-grassy hoppy overtones; quite watery.

Bottle shared in London with the crew. Pours clear, pale yellow with a creamy, white head. Doughy biscuits in the nose, white bread. Light sweet flavour with more doughy character,, cereal, faint paper, slight lemony hops, hay. Light bodied with airy carbonation. Finishes with more cereal, biscuit, lightly bitter hay. Very basic.

Bottle. Pale golden beer with a reasonable head. The aroma is yeasty with some dryness, and the flavour is yeasty with gentle bitterness and dryness. Overall an average Pilsner style of beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
