It delivers a refreshing crisp smack around the gills. It pours a pale golden colour and the malty sweetness is well balanced by the Chinook and Centennial hops. Goes well with fish, chicken or anything off the barbeque

Draught- Are we sure we’re all drinking the same beer? Moderately bitter aroma of Orange, caramel and crystal malt. Fruity flavour with some earthy hoppiness, quite sweet. Firm palate. Very nice and a great session beer. I can only assume that the poorer reviews are due inconsistency issues from the new brewery, because I’ve had this s number of times on draught and have found it nothing but lovely.

Bottle from Hippo Beers. Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light caramel, faint citrus. Taste is more of the same. Easy drinking.

33ml Bottle from malting pot. Drank at home. A nice aromatic Irish pale ale..

Aroma reminiscent of a pilsner. Tastes like it. Just a tad more bitter. Low carbonation. After a few sip it went flat in my glass.

The aroma sadly reminded me of a strong Jupiler, so far from the best. Luckily, the taste is different from the aroma, even if it could be compared to a good Pils beer with bitterness. Palate is there, but weak. Not bad, but not a must

Ne mousse pas beaucoup et belle couleur jaune. Amertume fort présente . Ormis cette amertume qui reste bien, il n’y a pas grand chose.

Grain and cereal malts, floral hops, straw, grass. Clear gold, small creamy, white head. Light bitter. Medium bitter. More floral hops, straw, soft carbonation, medium bodied. OK APA, yet nothing too special. Bottle from Honest Brew, Crystal Palace.

Tap @ Hippo Taproom. Golden orange, reasonable head. Grain hop aroma. Caramel hop flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. Much better than other ratings suggested.

Idiosynkrasie (7980) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2017
330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy hoppy aroma, caramel malty basis, hints of lemon and mandarine. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, lemon tea, mandarine; a cautious touch of pine; nice mild bitterness, quite watery, though.
