Draft - Grains and a bit of sweetness, maybe the toasted coconut. Clear gold with no head. Lots of honey and light sweet malt. No coconut, but lots of honey. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 28, 2013
(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of florals, coconut, and dough. Flavor of coconut, minerals, caramel, vanilla, and dough. The coconut is too over the top for me. deyholla (12588) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAR 15, 2014
Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a near clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of notes of coconut, cookie and biscuit. Flavor is sweet throughout with sweet grain, cookie, coconut and biscuit. Too sweet for me. SudsMcDuff (8541) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - FEB 15, 2015
i applaud the effort, the coconut was mild and the beer as well but an odd creamed corn came out in the end as it warmed .. . gold, medium foam .. . light graininess .. . mild all around .. . . i like those orange uniforms. very classy. UPDATED: SEP 9, 2013 Decided to re-rate this one at the request of the brewer, who said they have nearly doubled the amount of coconut in the beer. Pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma has some nice toasted coconut notes, much more than previously. The flavor also is full of coconut flavor as well as some biscuit malt and toffee. The grainy notes from the original version I had do not appear in this one, which I view as a good thing. Definitely a much improved beer and one I would try again.

Original rate from June 2013: On tap at Craft and Growler. Pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of grain notes with some light toasted coconut. Alright, but nothing special. The flavor is also very average. I get a hint of coconut as well as some grain and toffee. There is something a bit odd going on in the flavor but I can’t quite put a finger on what it is. I can best describe it as strange. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
Tap at brewery. New batch with more coconut. Gold pour, light haze, off white head. Heavy coconut, light roast, sweet malts, light vanilla. Easy on the palate, coconut up front, followed by dough, malts, light caramel, faint vanilla, smooth finish. travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - APR 24, 2014
Tap. Thin white head, clear, golden head. The smell is corny, floral, garbage. Fruit, chex, and ick. The taste is very cereal, fruit, bread, and malt. Cavie (4874) - Arlington, Texas, USA - OCT 1, 2013
Tap at G Man FW. Pours a semi-hazy light yellow orange color with a light ring of creamy head. Flavor is heavy coconut with lots of sweet notes. Toasted notes of chocolate and coconut. Aroma is light. Faint coconut but it appears WAY more than the nose. Wow, not bad.
