Clareeses (175) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 3, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2017 Cans purchased by the SO at Albertsons in Sherman, TX.
Aroma 8 /10: fragrant coconut and pineapple esters
Appearance 3 /5: golden yellow with thin head
Palate 3 /5: moderate carbonation, slightly thin finish
Taste 6/10: coconut definitely present, finishes with a milky lactose sweetness (though I don't actually believe there is lactose in it).
Overall 14/20: not particularly my favorite style, but it is true to a cream ale. I can see the light and sweet body appealing to some.

Aroma 5/10: overpowering coconut aroma. Nothing else is present.
Appearance 4/5: Lovely golden color with some turbidity. Thin off white head.
Palate 4/5: Good crisp finish due to the light malts. Finishes very crisp and dry. Excellent for a warm day.
Taste 5/10: Coconut oil and not much else. Very light malt profile makes this a one trick pony.
Overall 12/20: This was the first 903 beer I ever had. It's great to see the hometown brewery experimenting with new and different ideas. While I think a lot of people like this beer, it's a bit too dominated by the coconut for me to truly enjoy.

On tap at Brew & Brew in Austin. Clear amber with a lacy whitish head. Aroma and taste mostly of coconut. Medium bodied. dzimm27 (143) - - JAN 21, 2017
Possibly an old can. I can totally get the creamed corn that may be expected here and the coconut taste is interesting at the end but is rather light. This is drinkable and interesting but I do not love it. gringo332 (645) - Richardson, Texas, USA - MAY 23, 2016
cream ale, thin in color and body with a massive amount of coconut, from the nose, especially the taste (its like coconut creme pie, but not that sweet) so if you love coconut you will likely enjoy it,.

Once again another 903 take it in the CAN fail. This one had only a small ring around the glass head and that signature cloudy unfiltered look. If you are going to give it to me in the CAN at least clean it up with a filter first. Hey 903, there is a thing known as a FILTER for your cheap CAN. Then lets move on from this breweries unfilterd CANNED beer to the sour candy aroma and the soured spoiled juice taste that this had to offer. No coconut found here but just nasty spoiled juice flavors. Would like to have tried it in that bomber bottle in picture rather than this CAN. Maybe it would have been better... maybe... eriklasalle (7) - - MAR 29, 2016 does not count
Did not care for this beer very much. light body, with biscuit flavor. did not taste the coconut very much, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. csaso (2335) - Missouri, USA - FEB 29, 2016
Tap - good size foamy head, medium gold color, refreshingly balanced, sweet honey like malt, maybe a hint of toasted coconut in there, wish it was a little more, but not bad overall
