COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is based on Sweet Stout. Our version has 7.5% ABV, with added cold water espresso coffee beans, The result is a discreet and delicate coffee aroma blended in with the roasted aromas from dark malts and other spicy aromas traditionally associated with Stouts. The taste is slightly sweet, medium bodied with a well balanced bitterness and after palate.

330ml brown bottle. Deep brown pour. Head is light brown, creamy and sticks to the surface of the beer. Excellent lace. Coffee, chcoolate and trace alcohol in the aroma. Flavour has chocolate and strong black coffee. Long finish has big roasty notes. Dry and moderately bitter. Medium body, smooth and creamy in the mouth. A pleasing stout.

Pours cola brown without much head. Nose of chocolate coffee liqueur eventually turns into cardamom with a touch of coffee. A tartness on the taste, there’s the coffee, cardamom and some warming alcohol, all underlain by some very assertive green apple cores. Interesting components but I’m not sure the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
