COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
10’000 years in the making, the LPA marks the return home for beer. From the land where beer and human civilisation were born, comes a new brew that is a marriage between Western brewing tradition, Eastern complexities, and a sublime expression of the Lebanese Renaissance. It was inspired straight from the Lebanese spice markets. For decades there has been little choice in the diversity of Lebanese beers. This beer provides an alternative for the Lebanese population, with ingredients such as za’atar, sumac, mint, sage, anise, and chamomile. The use of such herbs and spices makes this distinctive craft brew truly Lebanese.

Grass, spice, ginger, and mint in the aroma. Flavor is mild, sweet, and flowery. Spice and mint in the finish. Different and better than I expected.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4, many thanks! Pours clear amber. Aroma is coke-like, sweet fruit and caramel, quite obscene. Body is medium, quite bitter with a rather thin body, still flavours reminiscent of the nose but a lot weaker than expected. Dryish palate. Not bad, but doesn't really work out either.

Bottle. Clear deep amber color with white head. Aroma is za'atar (which I love!), anise, more herbs, caramel. Taste is za'atar, caramel, and the same mix of spices. Super-great idea, and works out well! Nice!

mcberko (20857) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 7, 2017
330mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with herbs that smell like fresh dirty pot. Flavour is along the same lines, with tons of herbs and pot. This is garbage.

fiery1 (1888) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 6, 2017
355ml bottle @ Erik's. Pours a clear orange copper colour with a thin white head. Nose is potent sage with subtle other spices mixed about. Flavour is just as the nose, strong sage with a mess of other spices.

Ferris (18231) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 6, 2017
Bottle - Mint, sage and a melange of spice. Clearishgold with a decent white head. A mess of spice as the nose implies. No point.
