COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The best barley of all grows on the Magdalen Islands. We harvest the windblown, salt-kissed grains and use them to concoct a malt with a maritime accent that gives our beers their unique character. Come to our microbrewery À l'Abri de la Tempête, relax by the sea shore and dip your lips in a brew as fine as spindrift.

Shared 341ml bottle. Clear pale straw, white head. Aroma of grains, hay. Taste follows nose. Medium to heavy carbonation. Forgettable.

Aroma: apple juice and rice; Appearance: clear yellow pour with thin white head that sticks around; Taste: standard lager; nothing special; Palate: light bodied with short finish; Overall: more drinkable than most lagers, but that’s the best I can say.

Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 10, 2016
Slightly hazy dark straw color with a moderate amount of activity. Slightly frothy white 1 finger head that last for 5 minutes, with a good amount of legs. Flavors of sweet roasted grains, hints of lemon and caramel, floral and herbal spices. Nice sweetness, not too much, with salivating sharpness. Smoked malts with faint grassy noble spices. Slick medium body with strong prickly carbonation. Light and short finish, ending with a faint grassy noble spicy feel, and a roasted malt feel. Overall very good quality craft. Excellent flavors, well intensified, and super fresh. Quality ingredients and highly drinkable. Excellent representation of a good lager.
