341ml bottle shared with blankboy and garthicus. Very pale clear gold with a small and diminishing white fizzy/rocky head. Aroma of Chablis, dried flowers, a hint of cinnamon and maybe a bit of bug spray. Taste - floral, grassy light golden ale with a dash of pear - clean but sort of dull. Light body, strong carbonation, quick finish with a decent if slightly gritty fresh grassy finish. Meh. kschep (1707) - DENMARK - DEC 25, 2011
#1038 bottle; nose is dry lemon, weak sweet pear, cereal whiff, feel is watery, carb is mediumheavy, taste Is citrus, mellow hops, then green apple acid, MichaelLawrie (51) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 28, 2011
This was ok. The herbal character is very mild, accompanied with a slightly grassy malt caracter. It was very lightly carbonated, which I did not mind but others might. sseb69 (1909) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2011

App.: Clear bright golden with no head.
Aroma: Fairly strong and assertive lemony ginger, earthy, very slightly funky, quite intense fruitiness and citrus, lots of earthy coriander, a touch of bitter herbs, a touch of esters?, a little dusty/musty, not bad for this brewery.
Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence.
Flav.: Another big hit of citrus and slightly peppery ginger, biscuit, minerals, more watery than the nose suggests, still some decent earthy coriander, light herbal notes, hints of esters and funk (perhaps), drinkable; dry with modest bitterness and a fairly clean, lemon-biscuit finish.
These guys are hit and miss. This one wasn’t defective, but also wasn’t a great success.
Pour straw golden yellow light white head. Aroma sweet, honey, light grass, pepper, coriander, citrus. Taste citrus, honey, spices, floral, grassy. MF light fizzy carb. Very forgettable Saison slightly below avg.
