À l’abri de la Tempête has drawn on the soil madelinot to concoct a beer with sweet floral accents. Delicately scented with a series of wild herbs gathered on the archipelago, La Belle Saison charm with its warm notes of citrus and flowers accompanied by a refreshing bitterness. A mouthful of sunshine!

Beers from Quebec deserve French descriptions.

Pours a clear golden color with a very small white head and a lot of carbonation bubbles. Nose of floral notes, spices, ginger, and pale malts. Also some banana notes in there. Really aromatic. Taste is medium to high sweetness. Medium body. Just ok

Robe jaune très claire et translucide. Aucune mousse. Nez fleuri et épicé (poivre, clou de girofle). En bouche c’est très plat, sans bulle, et ça manque d’explosion de saveurs. Quelques notes fleuri et des agrumes (citron), mais ça tends malheureusement vers une pils.

A massive taste accomplishment at 5.5% abv. The nose pops with coriander, cloves, and sweet malt. The colour is lager-like with a fluffy white head. The taste profile delivers on the spices in the nose in a big way. Coriander, cloves, peppermint and hint of pepper are prominent over sweet bready malt and some juicy citrus and floral hops. A whole whack of taste on a solid body with appropriate carbonation.

341ml Bottle, thanks dad. Aroma: loads of flowers and herbs, spices and honey. App: clear pale, minimal white head. Taste and palate: thin body, light texture, spices in mouth, light astringent finish. Overall: meh. This is not for me. Body too thin, too much floral and herbal. Feels like drinking water in a flower and herb rendall.

Honey and floral scent with a light yellow color. Its refreshing taste explodes in the mouth with honey and a descrete taste of spices. Really nice in a hot day. Cheers!

Light floral aromas, spices, ginger and allspice. Nice appearance, large, long lasting, white head with good lacing. Sparkling, light yellow body. Light bitter sweet flavours that leave you wanting more. Easy to drink. Putting this one on my summer list.

Pour is pale gold with a clean white cap that’s gone in a flash. Notes is lots of steeped flowers/tea, lemon, hay, faint bread dough. Taste is light and crisp and refreshing. The flowers/herbs are dominant, but in no way overpowering. and there’s a nice bitter, peppery kick on the finish. It’s February, but this is a great summer beer.

Légèrement saline. Fruité. Fruit sauvage. Baie. Poire. Pomme. Florale. Hebacé. Lavande. Citronné. Épicé. Muscade. Girofle. Finale sèche. Beaucoup de saveur, j’aime bien.

Jaune/dorée pâle avec une mousse faible. Nez parfumé, floral, d’épices et d’agrumes. Goût sucré, mielleux et épicé. Douce, agréable et qui se boit bien.
