Clean, grainy, cereal malt nose is lightly bready. Clear copper with a low, off-white head that lasts and laces. Mild grainy and bready malts with some light herbal and spicy hops and gentle finishing bitterness. Medium-light body with lively effervescence. A difficult to nail style done very competently - perhaps a touch more munich/vienna malt would bring this to the next level. Sampled at the Mondial de la Bière 2005. beerbuzzmontreal (3486) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 8, 2005

Amber-orangeish color hue, thick foamy head with good lacing, caramelized malt, sweet note of brown sugar and caramel aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with caramelized malt, brown sugar, and lightly creamy character in a soft betterness finish. Spicy caramel fruitiness makes a delicately complex aroma. Bready grain is submerged within.
Fresh toasted barley and salty, spicy hints benefit from a light fruity sweetness. Another well-made, though so easily quaffable brew from these lager lovers.
The simple enjoyment of wind blowing in your face.
