COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial Gold is a premium lager with a rich and full-bodied taste. The valuable malt delivered from Scotland gives it a deep golden colour and a thick head. The taste and appearance of A. Le Coq Imperial Gold are as worthy of royal attention today as they ever were.

33cl bottle at my hotel in Tallinn pours a clear gold with some sticky, white head. Nose has malt, honey, some light fruit (lychee?), mild citrus. Flavor is sweet, malt, mild corn, straw, a little lychee. Finishes a touch watery. Honestly, a step above the regular version.

Iznogud (4066) - CROATIA - AUG 5, 2016
Bottle, 400 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him and Miro B. Pours clear light orange with medium short lasting white head. Malty, toasted, caramel, grass. Sweetish. Light bodied. Light bitterness in finish.

Lager jakich wiele na rynku, choć nieco inny niż wszelka komercja, nieco gładszy, choć płaski.

40cl bottle. Pours golden color with small fine white head. Mostly malt flavour with very little bitterness. Easy drinkable, but nothing special.

Bottle. Golden. Old papery cardboardy nose. Grainy malts, old honey, very bulk industrial tasteless. Bit wound up after an hour of cleaning up after that last one, but this is not a beer id like to try again. Didnt blow up on me though.

klukas (329) - Rijeka, CROATIA - MAR 24, 2016
Enjoyed: poured from a bottle into a mug. The bottle (0,4 l) and label are well designed - very cool. The colour is deep/dark golden, small but stable white head. Easy drinkable, low carbonated. Fresh flavour.

Pours a clear pale golden body with a white head, visibly very carbonated. Aroma mostly malty of bread and hay with some small fruity notes. Taste is malts, grains, sweet corn with fruity notes. Medium body, moderately carbonated.

artyom (1156) - Osijek, CROATIA - JAN 15, 2016
0.4l bottle. Golden color with white head. Aroma is malty and herbal. Taste is sweet with grassy hops.Soft to medium carbonation. Overall it’s easy drinkable lager.

tomer (3703) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - DEC 4, 2015
Bottle, long lasting stiff bubbly head, clear deep gold color, aroma of vanila, yeast, metalic notes and some bread, flavor of biscuit, hint of honey and a slightly coarse herbal bitterness, a bit too heavy. Drinkable but not really too good.
