COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A.Le Coq Porter is a strong dark beer that can rightfully be considered to be the successor of the world-famous "Imperial Extra Double Stout." Its mature character and perfect taste are derived from sparkling spring water and extra dark caramel-malt.

25.01.13 Uts: mørk rødbrun, klar, rikelig beige skum, godt med kullsyre. Duft: mørk malt, milde brente toner og noe karamell, svak humle. Smak: lite fyldig og smaksrik, smaker mer som en bayer, ingen røstede toner i smaken, kort ettersmak. Kjedelig.

Kirkas tummanruskea, oikeastaan aika pitklle colanvrinen olut kohtalaisella ja pitkkestoisella vaaleanbeigell vaahdolla. Ylltten ennen kaikkea hedelminen tuoksu kevyell lakritsisuudella hystettyn. Maku maltainen, lagermainen, hieman savuinen sek aika makea. Melko tytelinen suutuntuma. Todella kaukana porterista, mutta ihan nautittava joka tapauksessa.

Appearance is dark brown, ruby tinges, a one finger beige foamy head which fades away. Aroma- milk chocolate, cocoa powder, dark malts, biscuit, hints of plum, some banana as well. Taste- dark fruit, fruitcake, crisp hop undertones, banana bread, chocolate malt. Hints of liquorice and dry roast as well. Short finish, and easy drinking.

UPDATED: AUG 29, 2015 Nice bottle. Tasting A bit disappoinment. Taste is far too artificial. Producer not even will show ingredients. Includes artificial ingredients, propably. Reminds or is A bottled version of Saaremaa tume, artificial "beer". Bought A case of 24. 23 to go.
