Big can from Blaisure. Thin straw body w slight head. Nose is hay, water and metal. Taste is thin corny malts and slight sweet. Not offensive, as some are, but not much going for it either.

500ml from my local lcbo. Typical golden pour, next to no head. Aroma of wet grass, cardboard and corn. More sweet corn and cheap cereals in the finish with next to no bitterness. Lcbo, why?

500mL bottle, showed up unannounced at my local likboe. Pours a pale yellow with a small white foam. Aroma is of your standard pale malt syrup with peppery hops. Flavour has that odd ’East Euro’ malt character that I can’t quite describe, but is a little grainy. Nutty, and with some quick, peppery hop zing in the finish. Not a whole lot going on, and yet another in a long, long line of pointless beers the LCBO seems to feel the need to shower us with. Where’s my Aldaris Zelta?

0,5l can and bottle. Pale yellow color. Small white head. Metallic, grainy aroma. Light sweet watery body. Somewhat bitter ending. Nothing premium about it.

Pours very light yellow almost grey colour. Not much to the flavour either. very light grain flavour with little to no finish.

Metalchopz (3384) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - APR 19, 2012
Second Estonian beer for me (Saku Originaal being the first one) and both came in a 500ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a yellow colour (light golden) with a white head that hand in there and delivers decent dirty lace. The nose is grainy with cereal malt and what seems like corn (but not sure). Notes of dirty hay and citrus eventually come out. Medium-bodied with an almost creamy mouthfeel. Mild grass mixed in with the malt, all-in-all light, kind of different but not overly weird. Drinkable, maybe a touch better than the Saku Originaal.

500 mL bottle. Very light with a short-lived, bright white head. Tastes like sweet.

I tried this beer on April 12, 2012 after purchasing from the Queen’s Quay LCBO outlet in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent pale gold colpour with a thin bubbly white head. Aroma was grainy malt, and hops. Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavour was very grainy, slightly sweet, with metallic tastes and a bitter finish.

probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2012
500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear light golden with a fair bright white head. Aroma: Fruity, slightly boozy grains/cereals, a little acetone and pear drop, faintly metallic, meh. Palate: Medium body, fairly prickly carbonation. Flav.: Biscuit, fruitiness, cereals/grains, a little grassy/green hops, a little wet cardboard, a touch of vodka, more fruitiness; dry with limited bitterness and a kinda fruity, grain/cereal finish.

Funny name. The beer is lame. I’m a poet and I don’t know it.

hlkanga (204) - - FEB 25, 2012
500ml can. Pours clear golden with small foamy white head that disappears quickly. Quite neutral aroma has some fruits, spices and grain. Taste has some hoppiness and malt in it. Easy to drink. Softly carbonated and little bit bitter in the end. Short finish. Better than an average pale lager of the pricegroup because it has quite smooth mouthfeel and it doesn´t have any unpleasant aromas or flavours. Decent lager but nothing special.
