(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Very dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with caramel, dark rye bread, raisins, liquorice and hints of nutmeg. Roasted, malty taste with notes of dark rye bread, chocolate, caramel, liquorice, some coffee and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium body, smooth and rounded mouthfeel. Fairly sweet, with quite low bitterness. More like a spiced up dark lager than a porter, but a quite nice beer. faroeviking (10838) - FAROE ISLANDS - SEP 30, 2010
