Draft... Lightly hazed amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is of caramel, pine and grapefruit. The flavor is of a solid caramel or Munich malt backbone yielding to numbing, bitter hops. No residual sweetness. Full-bodied and silky with prickly carbonation. Lengthy, bitter, dry finish. Very pleasant surprise! kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - NOV 25, 2007

Pours amber with off-white head.
Aroma is hoppy piney, malty with some citrus fruits.
Taste, hoppy, malty with light notes of caramel. Seemed to be getting a lot more sweetness in the palate than in the aroma.
Fizzy palate for a light bitter hoppy finish.
Wasn’t really impressed bu it. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 3, 2005
Draft. Reddish color with a big off-white head. Citrus hop aroma with some malt. Balanced hoppy/malty flavor but a somewhat strange aftertaste - not unpleasant, just strange and I can’t put any words to it. Easy to drink if you don’t get hung up on the strangeness. drowland (9057) - Georgia, USA - APR 22, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Clear red amber pour with a small khaki head. Faint malty aroma with some chocolate and pale malts. Similar flavor, mostly malty, laid back, touches of chocolate and caramel. Not bad. Ibrew2or3 (8814) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2008
Pours clear copper with healthy tan head. It has a lightly roasted lightly sweet malt aroma that is so light it is tough to pick up any other aromatic cues. The taste is roasty and mildly malt sweet along with faint citrus and pine hops. It then blends into faint grainy Munich like malts and breadiness. Into the finish I get medium roasted maltiness and a hint of caramel sweetness leaving a nice reminder of the flavor profile. Very sessionable.
