Portion of approximately 4 or 5 oz. pour, on tap at the brewery’s taproom in Jacksonville, Florida. Consumed on 5-30-17. Strawberry red. Pinkish beige head. Clear liquid. Good color. Cherry and tart aroma. Candied cherry scent. Very pleasant, floral smell. Mineral, cherry taste. Salty finish. Nice if simple flavor. Lively in the palate. Light body. Old note. Draft from Hunahpu ’16: red-yellow pour... so orange I guess. aroma of sour, funk, lemon. tastes are sweet-tart, lime, even sour. easy drinking. UDBeernut (2883) - Saint Johns, Florida, USA - JUN 12, 2016
Interesting red pour, translucent. Light tartness, hibiscus does dominate. Some light cherry. Light body and pretty slamable. I had 3 on a hot florida summer day and had zero issues. Mep3222 (1758) - East Greenbush, New York, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Hibiscus aroma dominates. Maybe some slight cherry. Taste is hibiscus dominated with a lighter palate. Almost like a herbal hibiscus tea. Maybe slight salty but not much. Base gose seems a bit funky maybe? Not nearly as lactic sour as say Westbrook gose. Not bad and refreshing and drinkable, but I had much higher hopes.

3/12/16. Sampled at the 2016 Huanhpu’s Day. How have I never had this before? This beer was definitely in demand during a hot Huny Day. Cool red pour with a nice pink head. Nice aroma, sour cherry limeade with an earthy and floral kick. Great flavor, sour cherry limeade, earthy and floral, light salinity. Killer on a warm day. A gose on tap at the brewery.
Pours with a cloudy reddish-copper body topped by a weak head that leaves little lacing.
Near full, smooth body with well set carbonation.
Complex and appealing spicy and fruity aroma.
Fine flavor with good balance, moderate tartness, and very good complexity.
O: an excellent gose worth seeking out. Theydon_Bois (22092) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2015
Keg at the brewpub, 19/02/15.
Lightly hazed golden orange with a moderately appointed off white covering.
Nose is pissy citrics, damp wood, orange, light spice, musty fruit rinds.
Taste comprises earthy, tarte apple, lemon rind, must, funk, tangy citric peel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light acidic trace.
Ok simple sour affair. markwise (5450) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - JUL 27, 2015
On draft at FBG Fest 2015. Pours a hazy yellow with red highlights. Nose is citrus, wheat, lime, floral notes, and some berry. Flavor is similar with tart berries, lime, citrus, and floral notes. Light in body, very enjoyable, and session able. hopscotch (11527) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 4, 2015
Growler... Hazy straw-colored pour with an orange tint and a small, brief, white head. The aroma is herbal, fruity, mildly bready and lightly grainy. Medium-bodied with zippy carbonation. The flavor is tart, citric, grainy and yeasty. Finishes crisp, tangy and mildly herbal. Solid brew, but I don’t like hibiscus in beer. Please stop brewing with it. Growler courtesy of landhoney!
