22 oz bottle. Pours a very dark brown almost black color and topped by a small tan colored head of foam that slowly settles to a thin film. The aroma is really nice and shows notes of dark chocolate, toasted vanilla, lactose, roasted espresso coffee, cream, and toasted caramel malts. Smells similar to a coffee dessert like a Tiramisu with all the sweet notes. The flavor follows and shows dark chocolate, toasted vanilla, espresso, roasted coffee, and vanilla cream from the lactose. Sweet buy not overly so with a nice underlying coffee roast to help balance things out. Nearly full bodied, smooth and slick on the palate with soft carbonation that leads to a milk chocolate, vanilla cream, and coffee finish. Really tasty stuff that mimics the cocktail very well, and a really good dessert coffee beer. Kleg (257) - The Beach, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2016
2 oz draft sample at the 3rd Annual Rocky Water Brew Fest. Pitch black with no head. Smooth, with a thick mouthfeel. The flavor isn’t bad until the coffee flavor kicks in.

1/8/16. On tap at the source! Finally get to try this puppy! Black pour with an awesome tan head, fantastic lacing. Awesome aroma, vanilla for days, coffee blended well, no pepper aspect at the slightest, a chocolate milk touch. Great flavor, will be a tad sweet for some folks, coffee, vanilla, chocolate milk. Awesome. I am beyond stoked for the rum BA bottles! Niall73 (2432) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 7, 2016

Pours the part with a very thin khaki head, solid coffee nose. Taste is generally sweet, vanilla, chocolate, black coffee. Body feels medium but is super creamy and silky. This is very good.

Draft. Poured black color with a moderate creamy tan head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Medium to heavy toasted roasted coffee, vanilla with a small alcohol aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted coffee sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout beer. jbruner (4742) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - DEC 7, 2014
This was awesome, big deep black on tap with thin off-white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma is sweet lactose and vanilla with underlying roast. Taste follows, big and sweet yet nice coffee notes as well. Really well done, definitely close to a rusky, alcohol is well hidden as well. aracauna (3606) - Georgia, USA - NOV 23, 2014
Surprisingly, as good as this is, it was only the second best beer of the night after Hipster Popsicle. Sweet, rich, gorgeous coffee aroma. Chocolate lingers in the finish. LuckyDog (615) - - OCT 26, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 6, 2014 Strong coffee aroma. Creamy body. Great stout. Highly recommended if you don’t mind a sweet stout.

>> Rating #8500. Inky pour, sepia highlights. Lower dark foam with spotty lace. Aroma is out of control coffee dessert, tiramisu, hazelnut praline, espresso. Crazy rich taste, nicely bitter and never cloying, soft silky dark chocolate with hazelnut cream and spicy vanilla. Tastes like an upgraded Black Russian cocktail with coffee and hazelnut. Incredible coffee stout.
